Video Editor (Production)

As a Video editor, your responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Master the workflow of content produced by Throwdown Media by collaborating with Program Producers. You will receive valuable training and feedback.
- Create and edit videos featured across our various channels, from fiction content to political commentary, with guidance from experienced editors.
Utilize raw footage and video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro and Audition to craft engaging and informative content.
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while upholding quality standards.
Collaborate with writers and stakeholders to ensure that video content aligns with each channel’s unique style and narrative.
Elevate videos by incorporating graphics, animations, and other elements to enhance visual appeal while preserving the company’s identity.
Prepare captions for videos, ensuring our content is accessible for everyone.
- A basic understanding of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Adobe After Effects.
- An appropriate portfolio of work in the media field.
- Ability to think independently and quickly.
- Great problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- A positive attitude that aligns with our dynamic and creative work environment.
- Ability to work with a team or independently.
- Strong communication skills.
Camera Operator (Production)
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Employment: Full-time / Project Basis
Are you someone who is passionate about cinematography? Do you want to be a part of a team that creates entertainment worth watching? Join our team here at Throwdown Media as a Cinematographer and make your mark.
As a Video editor, your responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Master the workflow of content produced by Throwdown Media by collaborating with Program Producers. You will receive valuable training and feedback.
- Shoot footage of shows at the direction of the Program Producers/Directors.
Taking special care of Camera equipment inside/outside the studio facility.
Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines while upholding quality standards.
- A basic understanding of modern industry standard camera equipment (SONY, Cannon, Nikon, Blackmagic, RED etc…).
- An appropriate portfolio of work in the media field.
- Ability to think independently and quickly.
- Great problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- A positive attitude that aligns with our dynamic and creative work environment.
- Ability to work with your team (Especially Program Producer/Director).
- Strong communication skills.
